Beaucience Botanicals Cleansing Gel|Review

Hey Squad! It’s always a minute since I chat to you guys and I’m always saying it so today will be the last hahaha. Today’s post is a review of the Beaucience Cleansing Gel. I started using it about 2 months ago and have been happy with it so far.

This cleansing gel was included in our October #SquadBoxSA click here to read more about our beauty subscription box offering. Squad Box is a great way for you to try out products before purchasing them. I mean don’t you just hate it when you buy something and then it doesn’t work for you. Then you have wasted money, with squad box you get to try out the products without having to pay full price.

Beaucience is a locally manufactured brand and you know I love my local brands as much as the international one and I’m even biased to our local brands to a certain extent.

This Beaucience Cleansing gel is a very gentle cleanser, it effectively removes makeup, dirt, excessive oil, and skin secretions, it is also a nice cleanser to add to a routine where you double cleanse. You need to work it a bit more when you are wearing waterproof or long-lasting products.

My favourite face wash and it last so long – Instagram follower @simsolarsh

The smell is also very natural, it actually smells like you are walking through Kirstenbosch gardens. It has a gel-like consistency(hence the name hahaha). One thing that I really loved is that they chose to not use Sodium Lauryl Sulfate in the product because it is a very harsh ingredient that dries out the skin(and basically just for foam) and just not necessary in products. There is still a bit of foaming action as they have Sodium Lauryl Sarcosinate as a cleansing agent.

My skin has been going through the most this month, so I’m not sure if it is the purge that one normally gets when changing over to a new range or if my hormones are just all over the place, but just for reference I have dry to normal skin. Besides the here and there pimples my skin definitely feels so much smoother and is not as dehydrated as it usually is.

You can purchase these products straight from the Beaucience website at R109.99

Until Next Time

Peace and Love
